Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives with community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct health education workshops and outreach programs across Atlanta neighborhoods
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and health advisory boards
- Lead crisis response protocols for public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance management
- Strong interpersonal skills for diverse community engagement
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation
