Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic planning
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to improve access to preventive services
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Lead public health emergency preparedness response protocols
- Conduct outreach to underserved communities to address health disparities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health considerations into county policies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven experience developing culturally competent health interventions
- Strong knowledge of NC public health regulations and accreditation standards
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
