Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis to identify emerging health trends
- Coordinate community outreach programs in underserved neighborhoods
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to build health coalitions
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and prepare compliance reports
- Lead health education campaigns addressing substance abuse and maternal/child health
- Prepare public health assessments and policy recommendations for county leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Experience writing grant proposals and managing budgets
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
- Valid Indiana driver's license with reliable transportation
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting regulations
