Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis for disease prevention
- Coordinate community health screenings and vaccination outreach events
- Collaborate with schools, clinics, and nonprofits on health promotion strategies
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Provide public health emergency response support
- Train community health workers and volunteers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential required
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license
