Responsibilities
- Design and execute evidence-based health education campaigns targeting Louisville's vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data to identify emerging health trends
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate immunization and disease prevention programs
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets to secure sustainable funding
- Provide technical assistance to local healthcare providers on public health protocols
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and health metrics for county leadership
- Represent Jefferson County at regional health coalitions and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Bachelor's with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management for health programs
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated community collaboration experience
- Knowledge of Kentucky public health regulations and best practices
- Valid Kentucky driver's license and reliable transportation
