Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education campaigns targeting Milwaukee County residents
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and recommend interventions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations on health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on health equity and accessibility
- Prepare reports for county commissioners and state health department officials
- Respond to public health inquiries and provide crisis support during outbreaks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in SPSS, SAS, or similar data analysis tools
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse urban populations
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
