Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health education
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and recommend intervention strategies
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to promote vaccination campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive health impact reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with state and federal public health standards
- Lead community outreach initiatives to address health disparities in underserved populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or community health initiatives
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R) and health data visualization
- Valid Missouri Public Health Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
