Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis for disease trends
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Collaborate with community partners to address social determinants of health
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Provide health education outreach through workshops and digital campaigns
- Prepare reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and management
- Knowledge of Nebraska public health regulations and frameworks
- Strong interpersonal skills for community engagement
