Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Coordinate community health screenings and vaccination clinics across Arlington neighborhoods
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to build health coalitions
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health outcomes and program effectiveness for county leadership
- Lead crisis response during public health emergencies following CDC protocols
- Manage health promotion campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for community engagement
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and health program funding
