Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health campaigns targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises and disease outbreaks
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with community partners to implement vaccination and screening programs
- Lead health education workshops for diverse populations across Maricopa County
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets for public health initiatives
- Stay current on CDC guidelines and state health regulations to ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R/STATA
- Experience with emergency preparedness planning and crisis management
- Excellent communication skills for diverse community outreach
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
