Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations to design culturally competent outreach strategies
- Lead crisis response efforts for public health emergencies
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to county leadership and stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train healthcare providers on public health protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Strong knowledge of Oregon public health regulations and policies
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record
