Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and analyze disease outbreak patterns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on vaccination initiatives and health screenings
- Manage grant-funded public health projects and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for county commissioners and state health department
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Train community health workers on best practices and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency with health data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Bilingual English/Spanish certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends during emergencies
