Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted public health programs addressing chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct community health assessments and analyze epidemiological data
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded initiatives and ensure compliance with public health standards
- Provide health education workshops and crisis response coordination
- Monitor disease trends and implement intervention strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience with health equity initiatives and vulnerable populations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and grant writing abilities
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
