Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead epidemiological investigations and outbreak response coordination
- Analyze public health data to inform policy recommendations and resource allocation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations on health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare reports for county leadership and public health emergency task forces
- Train staff and volunteers on public health protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with emergency response planning
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
