Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead crisis response initiatives for emerging health threats (e.g., disease outbreaks, environmental hazards)
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Design educational campaigns promoting preventative health measures and resource access
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in health data analytics tools (e.g., SAS, R, Tableau)
- Experience with emergency preparedness protocols and crisis management
- Proven ability to secure and administer public health grants
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
