Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for health crises and natural disasters
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic planning
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote vaccination programs and health education
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, NGOs, and government agencies to optimize resource allocation
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and recommend policy improvements
- Manage grant-funded projects and report outcomes to county leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in public health program implementation or community health coordination
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Tableau)
- Experience managing grants and budgets over $500,000
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or Mandarin preferred
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
