Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health education campaigns
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and disease outbreak investigations
- Develop community partnerships with local organizations and healthcare providers
- Analyze health data to identify trends and inform program development
- Coordinate emergency preparedness initiatives for public health threats
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Provide technical assistance to healthcare providers and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software
- Experience developing health education materials for diverse audiences
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
