Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for disease outbreaks
- Partner with local healthcare providers to expand access to preventive services
- Develop grant proposals to secure funding for public health initiatives
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Represent the county at public health forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in community health program implementation
- Valid Arizona Public Health Practitioner certification
- Proficiency in epidemiological software (e.g., SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Experience managing federal/state grant-funded projects
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
- Knowledge of CDC guidelines and Arizona health regulations
- Strong data visualization and public presentation skills
