Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community wellness initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate multi-agency health outreach campaigns including vaccination drives and health screenings
- Develop educational materials and deliver presentations to diverse community groups
- Conduct program evaluations and prepare comprehensive impact reports for state compliance
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure HIPAA compliance in all data handling
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to address health disparities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficient in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in public speaking
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state health program compliance
