Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Mesa communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and disease outbreak investigations
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Develop educational materials and health promotion campaigns
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and reporting requirements
- Coordinate emergency preparedness response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
