Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health initiatives targeting disease prevention and health promotion
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with community organizations to deliver health education workshops
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for city leadership and public health stakeholders
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of Florida public health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
