Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging public health trends to inform state policy development
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for legislative action
- Collaborate with federal agencies and local health departments on coordinated initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness using data-driven methodologies
- Present findings to stakeholders including policymakers and community leaders
- Monitor compliance with federal healthcare regulations (ACA, HIPAA)
- Lead cross-functional task forces addressing health disparities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of government/public health policy experience
- Expertise in healthcare data analysis and statistical software
- Deep understanding of Georgia's healthcare landscape
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with federal grant applications and compliance
- Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic systems
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
