Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform county-wide interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to coordinate response efforts
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for public health policy recommendations
- Represent the county at health coalitions and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field with 3+ years of experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Experience with health program management and grant reporting
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Knowledge of Wisconsin public health regulations and systems
- Strong interpersonal skills for community engagement
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
