Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health initiatives targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform program strategies
- Coordinate community outreach and education campaigns for underserved populations
- Partner with local healthcare providers and organizations to integrate health services
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Conduct health assessments and report findings to county leadership
- Stay current with public health policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Kansas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of health equity principles and cultural competency
