Responsibilities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and investigations for communicable diseases
- Develop evidence-based public health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze health data trends to identify emerging community health concerns
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses and public health crisis management
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers on health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for county leadership

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Florida Public Health certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
