Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate community health initiatives with schools, clinics, and non-profit partners
- Lead crisis response coordination for public health emergencies
- Conduct health education workshops and outreach events across diverse neighborhoods
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and grant applications
- Maintain compliance with state and federal public health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SPSS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Valid Texas driver's license with reliable transportation for field visits
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required
