Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting Arlington communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and disease outbreak investigations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols with local healthcare providers
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend policy improvements
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
- Leverage community partnerships to expand health access for underserved populations
- Prepare public health reports for county leadership and stakeholder presentations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Texas Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven ability to manage multi-faceted health initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and community-based organizations
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
