Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data to identify emerging threats
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives for immunization campaigns and health screenings
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits to address social determinants of health
- Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to county commissioners and health advisory boards
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
