Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and priorities
- Coordinate emergency preparedness initiatives with local healthcare partners
- Develop grant proposals and manage public health project budgets
- Conduct health assessments and create intervention strategies for chronic disease prevention
- Collaborate with schools, non-profits, and faith-based organizations on health initiatives
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Valid Indiana driver's license with reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills for community stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of local health disparities and social determinants of health
