Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health education
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Develop community partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits for coordinated health initiatives
- Lead emergency preparedness planning and response coordination for public health threats
- Secure and manage grant funding for public health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and community health metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Valid Texas driver's license
