Responsibilities
- Design and execute evidence-based health education programs targeting underserved communities
- Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data to inform public health strategies
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations to address health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Conduct health assessments and emergency preparedness planning for public health threats
- Develop outreach materials and lead community workshops on preventive health measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Epi-Info)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
