Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education campaigns targeting Arlington residents
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify local health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to implement disease prevention strategies
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets for public health initiatives
- Conduct health assessments and prepare compliance reports for state agencies
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community leaders and organizations
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and budget management
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish (highly desirable)
