Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance across Pima County
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs
- Collaborate with community organizations to address health disparities
- Analyze health data trends to inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Provide technical assistance to local health departments
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Arizona state residency required at time of hire
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in health data analysis software (e.g., SAS, R)
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
