Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead community outreach campaigns on disease prevention and wellness education
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance service delivery integration
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong communication skills for community engagement
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality protocols
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
