Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health education campaigns for diverse populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigations
- Coordinate immunization programs and health screenings county-wide
- Collaborate with community partners to address social determinants of health
- Prepare and maintain compliance with public health reporting requirements
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend interventions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program experience or equivalent
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Strong proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with grant writing and fund management
- Excellent communication skills with multilingual abilities a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
