Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and outbreaks
- Develop evidence-based public health interventions and policies
- Coordinate with community partners for health education initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with state/federal health regulations
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded health programs and budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (required)
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS/R/Python)
- Knowledge of CA health regulations and emergency protocols
- Valid California driver's license
- Experience with health informatics systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
