Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions for vulnerable populations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for disease outbreaks and health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend policy changes
- Lead community education campaigns on vaccination, nutrition, and chronic disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and local organizations to improve health access
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for state health officials and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R/Excel
- Experience with community outreach in multicultural environments
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
