Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to urgent public health threats including disease outbreaks and environmental hazards
- Develop community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations on health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for public health officials
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Lead crisis response teams during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or healthcare administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and program management experience
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Experience with emergency response protocols
