Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting high-risk neighborhoods
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises (e.g., disease outbreaks, natural disasters)
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and resource allocation needs
- Collaborate with community organizations to deliver health education programs
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead cross-departmental health initiatives with city agencies and healthcare partners
- Prepare public health reports for city council and state health departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or related field required
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R/Python
- Experience with emergency preparedness protocols and crisis management
- Valid Ohio driver's license and willingness to travel city-wide
- Excellent written/verbal communication and grant-writing abilities
