Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting priority community health issues
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis to identify health trends and outbreaks
- Coordinate with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations for multi-sectoral health initiatives
- Design and deliver health education campaigns and outreach programs for diverse populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or community health
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health information systems
- Valid Maryland driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with policy development experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience working with Baltimore communities highly desirable
