Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response initiatives for public health crises
- Lead community outreach initiatives to increase vaccination rates and preventive care access
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Prepare comprehensive reports for public health boards and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff and train community health workers on best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or equivalent credential
- Demonstrated experience with emergency response protocols and crisis communication
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Korean strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
