Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Collect, analyze, and interpret health data to identify emerging trends and risks
- Coordinate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Develop educational materials and conduct outreach on health topics (vaccinations, chronic disease prevention)
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Respond to public health emergencies and participate in crisis preparedness activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of public health or healthcare experience
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R/Excel
- Excellent communication abilities for community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and TN public health statutes
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
