- Coordinate emergency response protocols for health crises including infectious disease outbreaks
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote vaccination and preventive care access
- Develop educational materials in multiple languages for culturally diverse populations
- Collaborate with hospitals and clinics to streamline health resource allocation
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and federal health agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in government or nonprofit public health initiatives
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, Tableau)
- Demonstrated experience developing culturally responsive health campaigns
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and Chicago health regulations
- Exceptional crisis communication skills with bilingual capabilities preferred
