Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend public health surveillance and emergency response activations
- Manage community vaccination clinics and health screenings on weekends
- Coordinate contact tracing and outbreak investigations during off-hours
- Develop weekend-focused health education materials for diverse audiences
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services for weekend health incidents
- Analyze weekend public health data trends and prepare weekly reports
- Train weekend volunteers and temporary staff for health initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field
- 2+ years of public health or healthcare experience
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Certification in Emergency Preparedness (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills for diverse community interactions
- Proficiency in health data management software
- Flexibility to work occasional weekday overtime during emergencies
