Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend community health outreach programs and vaccination clinics
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and reportable disease surveillance
- Develop and deliver health education materials for diverse populations
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage weekend public health emergency response activations
- Analyze health data and prepare weekend shift impact reports
- Provide weekend hotline support for public health inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of public health or healthcare experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
- Experience with health data analysis tools (SPSS, Epi Info)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs for event setup
