- Collaborate with local governments and community organizations to assess policy impacts
- Monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes affecting state operations
- Support implementation of new policies and evaluate their effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis or government experience
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methods and data interpretation
- Proficiency in policy development frameworks and stakeholder engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information
- Knowledge of Kansas state government structure and legislative processes
- Experience with policy analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R)
