Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft policy recommendations for city council
- Conduct quantitative research using statistical software (SPSS/R)
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholder meetings
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives on sustainability and economic development
- Manage public consultation processes and community engagement programs
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for municipal operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Knowledge of California municipal governance frameworks
- Strong writing skills with policy document portfolio samples
- Valid California driver's license
