Responsibilities
- Analyze federal/state/local legislation impacts on municipal operations
- Prepare concise policy briefs for executive leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental implementation strategies
- Manage public comment periods and community engagement
- Track regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Present findings to city council committees
- Develop performance metrics for policy effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 3+ years government policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Knowledge of Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS)
- Strong writing/editing skills for official documents
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Experience with public hearing facilitation
