Responsibilities
- Dispatch emergency services (police, fire, EMS) using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate radio communications with first responders
- Calmly gather critical information from distressed callers
- Adhere to NIMS protocols and FCC regulations
- Document incident reports with meticulous detail
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during complex incidents
- Provide crisis intervention support when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Must pass EMT-Basic certification within 6 months
- Proficiency in computer-aided dispatch systems
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
