Responsibilities
- Manage emergency calls and dispatch appropriate public safety resources during night hours
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio communication equipment
- Provide crisis intervention and critical information to callers during emergencies
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and adhere to strict protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS teams
- Participate in continuous training for emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year customer service or emergency response experience
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Pass criminal background check and psychological evaluation
- Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
